Hi-Performance-Nozzle-Body-100037-1.2109.3-1
Product Name: Hi-Performance Nozzle Body (Part No. 100037-1)
Description:
The Hi-Performance Nozzle Body (100037-1) is a precision-machined stainless steel component that serves as the central structural housing of a waterjet cutting head assembly. It functions as the critical interface that connects the water on/off valve (water switch) to the mixing chamber and focusing tube. Designed to maintain strict coaxial alignment between the water orifice and the mixing tube, its precision internal bore ensures a smooth, high-velocity water flow with minimal turbulence and pressure loss. This component is rated for continuous operation at up to 60,000 PSI (approximately 4,137 bar) and is a direct OEM replacement for H2O Jet, AccuStream, and Flow waterjet systems.
Applications:
Main structural interface between the water on/off valve and the mixing chamber
Aligns and supports the water orifice, mixing chamber, and focusing tube
Provides a high-pressure water conduit from the valve to the cutting head assembly
Suitable for both pure water cutting and as the base for abrasive waterjet cutting heads
Features:
Precision-machined stainless steel construction for structural integrity and corrosion resistance
Hi-performance internal geometry for smooth water flow, minimizing turbulence and pressure loss
Maintains perfect coaxial alignment between orifice and mixing tube for cutting accuracy and extended consumable life
Direct OEM replacement (cross-references: WE000248, 1-14448)
Maintenance:
Critical Torque Specification:
Maximum Torque: 25 ft-lbs (33.9 Nm) . Exceeding this torque can distort the precision sealing face, creating a groove that will cause high-pressure leaks.
General Care:
Inspect for Erosion: During routine cutting head maintenance, inspect the internal bore and cone sealing surfaces for erosion, pitting, or scoring. Internal damage will degrade cutting performance.
Thread Care: Clean all threads thoroughly before reassembly. Inspect for galling or damage.
Lubrication: Apply a thin, even layer of high-pressure anti-seize thread lubricant to male threads during reassembly to prevent galling and ensure accurate torque application.
Full Depressurization (Critical): Before any disassembly or maintenance, fully depressurize the waterjet system, shut off the high-pressure pump, trigger the cutting head to release residual pressure, and follow all lockout/tagout procedures.
