Measure the major diameter and pitch using a thread gauge or caliper. Winwin nozzles are manufactured to match these industry standards exactly. If your head uses a custom thread, we can provide adapters or custom-threaded nozzles.

2. Nozzle Length and Outer Diameter
The nozzle must not interfere with your cutting head’s focusing tube or shield. Measure the available cavity depth and internal clearance. Winwin publishes detailed 2D drawings with tolerances. If your head has limited space, select our short-body or low-profile series.

3. Orifice and Mixing Chamber Alignment
Your waterjet’s orifice (jewel) and mixing tube centerline must align with the abrasive nozzle’s bore. Winwin designs all nozzles with concentricity ≤0.05 mm, ensuring consistent abrasive flow. Provide your head’s orifice diameter and mixing tube ID; we’ll recommend the nozzle bore size (e.g., 0.040″, 0.060″) for optimal mixing.
