Major Components and Their Functions

High-Pressure Cylinder
The cylinder is the chamber where water is compressed to extreme pressures. It must withstand repeated pressure cycling without fatigue failure. High-pressure cylinders are typically made from precipitation-hardened stainless steel or advanced alloys.
